Gold price reaches new high on Wednesday

The price of gold has reached a new all-time high in the domestic market, rising by Rs 800 per tola on Wednesday.

According to the Federation of Nepal Gold and Silver Dealers' Association, fine gold is being traded at Rs 176,000 per tola today, up from Rs 175,200 per tola on Tuesday.

On Tuesday, the gold price had surged by Rs 1,100 per tola, continuing its steady upward trend in the domestic market.

In contrast, the price of silver declined by Rs 5 per tola. Silver is currently being traded at Rs 2,045 per tola, down from Rs 2,050 per tola on Tuesday.
