Planning municipal policies to manage growth

By Chris Arnold

Creating the future of community

On this episode I’m speaking with Andrew Davidge, Senior Urban Planner at Gladki Planning Associates, based in Toronto, Canada. As a policy planner, his work focuses on helping municipalities develop frameworks to manage growth and development in a way that fosters successful communities.

A particular area of focus has been creating a clear idea of what a healthy and complete community looks like, and how it can be achieved through the planning process. Public and stakeholder engagement is a big part of this process. Having public conversations on the future of communities is one of Andrew’s favorite parts of his job.

Andrew is a member of the Canadian Institute of Planners and a Registered Professional Planner.
